Caldermeade Farm is a place where you can visit, taste, learn, laugh and feel better naturally.
Not many people do what we do these days: owning and running every side of the business from looking after our cows to running our café, factory and developing nutritious and delicious recipes. This seems crazy, but luckily we are a big family of scientists, chefs, engineers and farmers who are loud, notoriously hard-working and scientific (or nerdy). We care about our community and strive to provide the best quality food possible.

JERSEY MILK
The brown cows at Caldermeade Farm are Jersey breed.
Our Jersey cows are only fed non-GMO food and mostly eat fresh pasture. Jersey milk has more protein, calcium, vitamins and minerals than standard Holstein Friesian cows, which are the black and white ones normally seen in Australia. Jersey milk also has a lower lactose (sugar) content with more protein and fat per litre of milk. But that’s not all – with more cream it has a delicious smooth taste, making it perfect for coffee, baking and cooking. Historically, Jersey was the breed of choice in Australia to make butter with it’s rich, yellow and extra creamy milk.
